Prince Daniel’s maternal grandmother was Nanny Birgitta Hugg (the daughter of Johan Teodor Hugg and Kristina Jonsdotter). Johan was the son of Johannes Hugg and Brita Eriksdotter. Kristina was the daughter of Jonas Jonsson and Anne Eriksdotter.
